Service Training Packages
We offer free consultations to assess your dog's ability and temperament as a good candidate for any of our service dog training programs or we can provide one litter visit for puppy selection. Call us today to schedule a free in-home service dog training assessment! All service dog training packages include:
- All Service Dog Programs include one-on-one training sessions, 52 group classes, basic & advanced obedience training, task training, AKC & IAADP testing, and 4 service dog public access group classes.
- Specialized training assessments need to be done at our facility. Service Dog Training is based on your dog’s abilities. Purchase of additional training equipment may be required. All Service animals are trained to help mitigate a disability for their handler. All dogs are to be assessed prior to being accepted into Specialized Training.

Psychiatric / PTSD Support Dog
12 One-on-One & 52 Group Sessions

A Psychiatric/PTSD service dog will be able to go anywhere with their handler and assist them in times of high stress and provide a sense of security. Medical Alert Service Dog

Living a balanced and independent life with chronic illness is not usually easy. Alert dogs for these individuals provide the stability, safety and support that allows for increased activity and peace of mind. Dog Training Elite offers free in-home evaluations to assess if a current family dog can be trained to become a medical alert service dog or can help you select a dog for training. Examples of medical alert dog tasks include but are not limited to:

Therapy Dog
Therapy dog training is based on your dog's abilities.

A therapy Dog volunteers alongside you, where permitted, and provides comfort to others. Examples include cheering people up at nursing homes or hospitals.
A good therapy dog is naturally friendly with strangers, able to work around a high level of distraction (with training), and able to understand personal boundaries, such as not jumping up, licking, mouthing, etc (with training).

We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (a.k.a. "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. I can not recommend Dog Training Elite DTE) strong enough!!!! From day 1 the changes in my dog’s behavior blew me away.
